Here at Victory Baptist Church, we place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God's Word. The highlight of every service or gathering is when it comes time for the Bible to be opened, and our hungry souls faithfully fed from the Word of God! Service times are a time for us to come together as a body of believers to learn, be encouraged and challenged by God's Word. We are a church family that loves the Scriptures and cherish the fellowship we have together around the Bible. Every service is unique and geared toward meeting your needs in a very practical way, right from the Bible.
It is our desire to honor the Lord by honoring his word. In Psalm 38:2 the Bible reads "I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name". We study the Holy Scriptures each week as a congregation in order to receive the light of God's Word as we walk through this life. Psalm 119:105 tells us - "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."
Our Pastor often preaches an extended sermon series, spanning multiple weeks. These series can be enjoyed in the Sunday morning or evening services. Pastor often preaches expository messages, working verse-by-verse through various books of the Bible, most often this is the case for Sunday School and the Wednesday evening service.
It's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting, and then easily discover that Victory is your church to call home. The music and worship are built around Biblical themes that are timeless and help to point our attention to the Lord. When you join any one of our public services you can expect to be greeted and welcomed with a kind smile and warm handshake.
