The Apostle Paul thanked God in 1 Timothy 1:12 because God gave him the privilege of being in the ministry. What an exciting privilege to be in the ministry! Serving the Lord, through the Local New Testament Church is a wonderful thing, and here at Victory we count it an honor to serve. In order to give you a small taste of what we do on a weekly, monthly, and even annual basis, below you'll find a number of ways that most of our members are involved in the work of the ministry.
We hope that this will inspire you to come and see
what's going on at Victory so that you too can join us
in the great work of serving Christ in the ministry!
Every year we host a Winter and Summer Revival with a guest preacher and special music. Annual events like our Baby Dedication, Sweetheart Sunday, Mother-Daughter Luncheon, Missions Conference, Thanksgiving Dinner and Victory Vision help to encourage the community and our congregation.
Everyone looks forward to the Scripture Reading and Prayer Meetings and Church Wide Fasts. How could we leave off mentioning the Summer Singing & Praising God Services or the Summer Socials. Nobody wants to miss the Open House Sundays or the Monthly Soulwinning Blitz. Throw in a regularly scheduled Dinner on the Grounds or Pot Luck fell

Every week we go into the community to pick people up for church services. Each of our bus drivers and bus workers enjoy going out into the highways and hedges in order to bring them in. The bus ministry is a wonderful way to impact our community for Christ.
It seems that there's always something cooking here at Victory. Whether it's for an annual event or surprise birthday celebration, the families involved in our kitchen crews are ready to whip up something tasty to eat. You might think it's dangerous to get so many cooks into one kitchen, but we make it work, and with plenty of events that require a meal, everyone gets their turn at the stove.
Our Wednesday night children's program wouldn't be possible without the dedicated workers that serve faithfully during the school year. The scripture that our kiddos learn is astounding and the doctrine that they are being equipped with is amazing! It's always a blessing to see the smiling faces...on the kids and the workers!
Almost every other month a meeting is hosted in the home of one our ladies. What a great way to spend time encouraging each other in the Lord and getting to know one another that much better. Of course there's always snacks and refreshments, but most of all, we look forward to the Devotional and prayer time.
Every month we faithfully send funds to a number of missionaries in our Judea, Samaria, and Uttermost parts of the World. Supported through our Faith Promise Missions Giving we've made a decision to make much of missions, believing that God will supply all of our need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19) because we faithfully give to missions. Feel free to check out the mission works we currently support, and pray with us that we will continue to be able to add more works!

Don't you just love those little chubby cheeks! Some ladies just can't get enough of the little ones; and boy aren't we glad that they aren't being a distraction in the main service. Every service skilled workers serve by caring for our babies, and with a growing church that means there's plenty of babies that need to be cared for. We would love to have your help with these bundles of joy.
Twice a month we hold a service in a local facility, focusing our attention on ministering to the Senior Saints. It's a joy sing Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with those in attendance before opening the Bible for a short time of instruction from the Scriptures. Residents often comment that the short service is their favorite activity throughout the month.
Weekly times of visitation and personal evangelism are an important part of our church. Christ has commanded us to GO, and if we want to be obedient to the commands of Christ we better get busy going. There's always an opportunity to follow up on a first time visitor, or encourage someone that's been sick or out of services recently. How about the hospital or nursing home? Don't forget our regularly scheduled soul winning blitzes and the need for visiting the riders of our bus routes. Well, you get the idea, there's a lot to do in this area and we would love your help!
